Don Diego de Guzman was Almoner and Senior Chaplain (later Bishop) to King Felipe III. His outward route from Aranda de Duero follows mostly the Camino frances and some of the Camino Primitivo and del Norte (Lugo, Sobrado). His return route includes the Camino de Invierno.
