These classic photographs from 1950-1960 take one along the Le Puy route within the Département of Aveyron (= ancient Province of Rouergue, centred on Rodez ). They show first the Aubrac plateau, with its Domerie, then the Lot valley (Espalion and Estaing). The Ouradou chapel near Estaing, and many photos of Estaing's procession on the Feast of St Fleuret, with villagers in pilgrim costume, etc. Finally the Abbey of Conques.
