The information in it may not be reliable, but the map on the last page shows the variants on the route, notably the ROUTE DES ANGLAIS or VOIE LITTORALE for pilgrims who cross the Gironde after Saintes, and descend through the Médoc, and a Chemin des Landes, from Bordeaux to Dax and St-Palais.
